Paragraph Three By six I was back at my house, dressed in the most beautiful pink prom dress, feeling like Cinderella. My date was fifteen minutes late. “Why don’t you call and check on him” stated my mom. She and I were waiting patiently and hadn’t heard from him. His mom answered “he is gone for the weekend. Was prom tonight?” I felt sick to my stomach, like a pathetic person not worth showing up for. After an hour of crying, I called Brittany to tell her the sad news. Within minutes she was at my house, picking me up in her yellow VW bug. “Let’s go together!” Such a great idea, and what I desperately needed after being stood up. It was in that moment I knew that best friends were so important and will be there through it all.
