Landfill directive Strategy and targets for reducing landfilling of biodegradable municipal waste (BMW) Technical provisions

Strategy: Baseline - amount of BMW generated in 1995 Targets: MS are allowed to landfill in 2006 - 75% in 2009 - 50% in 2016 - 35% countries relying on landfills (over 80%) - may add 4 years
