Terms to know Sports Medicine Therapeutic Modality Athletic Training Branch of healthcare that deals with evaluating athletes and preventing and treating injuries. Athlete has a wide range of definition. Therapeutic Modality Use of heat, cold, or electrical stimulation to produce an increase or decrease in blood flow.
