Importing Textures: By: Jordan Myers

What you will need: You will need to buy RPG VX Maker Ace A computer Texture saved on computer or flash drive.

What you will learn: In this lesson you will learn how to import your own textures into RPG Maker VX Ace.

Step one: You want to open up the places where you have your texture and RPG Maker. Copy the texture.

Step two: Next you will paste that texture into RPG Maker by opening the file named after your game (ex. Clear water…not a real project) Then open the file named “Graphics”.

Step Three: Open the folder called “Tilesets” Paste the texture in there.

Step four: Now you have open RPG Maker and click on the “Database” button. Click on the “Tilesets” tab at the top.

Step five: Depending on your texture you may want to add it to an existing tile set or just create a new one. Click on the box on the right side of the tile set box.

Final Step: Click the apply button at the bottom of the box to confirm your changes.
