Intro to Leadership Skills for Troops (ILST)

You Have Been Selected! Honor and Responsibility It’s not about being the person in front, status, or patches Good leaders aren’t all about themselves You can make a difference in the success of those you lead

Our Troop Goals Enjoyment of the Outdoors: Regular camp-outs, so Scouts will have the opportunity to experience the outdoors, increase their knowledge of the outdoors, and learn how to enjoy outdoor activities. Leadership: Have the Scouts learn to work with others, follow the guidance of their elected leaders, develop their leadership skills, and learn to accept increasing responsibilities. Advancement: Create the opportunity for advancement through skills training and individual accomplishments. Provide timely recognition of his advancement to enhance the Scout’s sense of accomplishment.
