I hope you and your second graders had a very relaxing winter break. I cannot wait to hear all about it from your children! Thank you to those who attended our classroom winter celebration! We had so much fun, and it would not have been possible without your help. There is no school on January 21st in observation of Martin Luther King Day. Lastly, it is already proving to be a very cold winter. Please make sure your second grader comes to school dressed warmly. It is important that all students are dressed appropriately for the weather in case of outdoor recess. Students should be reading 15 minutes each night. Raz Kids is a great way to make sure your kids are reading “good fit” books! Please make sure students are practicing addition and subtraction facts every night!
