Shickley Public Schools One-Act Play Production Welcome to the electronic Parents Meeting for the 2013 Season.

Regarding Rehearsals Participants are expected to: Be at rehearsal on time Know the rehearsal schedule Ask questions as necessary Make good use of their time Keep track of the script and utilize it Take notes and implement them Take care of our rehearsal/performance spaces

General Expectations Be here, be on time, be prepared Check the call board Use assigned make-up Fulfill individual responsibilities and follow directions

Lettering Requirements Attend all required practices (includes being on time) Master assigned role / Complete all assignments satisfactorily Behave in a professional manner Perform at the One Act Play competitions

Goals Analyze and interpret dramatic literature Collaborate with staff and other students Enjoy participating in the performance arts Represent Shickley Public Schools well Produce a play worthy of positive recognition Be responsible Perform to the best of our abilities Encourage one another Work hard Celebrate successes!

Participant Contract All participants must agree to the details put forth in the Participant Contract. This includes following the guidelines and meeting the expectations previously discussed in this presentation as well as abiding by school rules set forth in the student handbook. The Participant and Parent/Guardian must sign and submit the contract to the director.

Schedule Our performance schedule for the season is below. As more information becomes available it will be communicated to students by Mrs. Ippensen and to others through the school announcements. Monday, November 11 th - Fine Arts Home, 7:30 P.M. Wednesday, November 20 th - CRC Cross County, 8:45 A.M. Tuesday, November 26 th - LHS Play Lincoln High, 9:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 3 rd – District Home, time TBA Wednesday, December 11 th – State Johnny Carson Theatre in Norfolk
