A young university UPF is a public, international and research-intensive university. Founded in 1990, it has quickly earned a place for itself among the best universities in Europe

A quality university International Campus of Excellence awarded by the Ministry of Education (2010) Ranking Times Higher Education: 1st Spanish university (position 135 worldwide and 58 in Europe) (2019)  11th highest ranked university in the world among those under 50 (2018) U-Ranking (BBVA Foundation & Ivie, 2018): 1st Spanish university since 2013 Outstanding research: +46 million and participation in 77 projects of the European programme (H2020) in the 2014-2017 term European Research Council: 1st Spanish university and among the top 20 in Europe
