Before starting this presentation I would like express my special thanks of gratitude to our english teacher “sister Josephine” who assigned us such a wonderful presentation on the topic of “medicinal plants". while preparing this presentation I knew about various medicinal plants and their uses,which may be very useful to me.

Medicinal Herbs  A medicinal herbs is a plants that has similar properties as conventional pharmaceutical drugs. Humans have used them throughout history to either cure or lessen symptoms from an illness. Here are some of the medicinal plants that we can use in our daily life---

Alovera  Scientific Name: Aloe Barbadensis, Aloe Indica, Aloe Barbados  Aloe Vera is a succulent plant of the genus Aloe. It originates from the Arabian peninsula but grows wild in tropical climates around the world and is cultivated for agricultural and medicinal uses. The species is also used for decorative purposes and grows successfully indoors as a potted plant.  Aloe Vera is a succulent plant of the genus Aloe. Bhrigraj  Scientific name: Elipta alba Bhrigraj is used for hair fall treatment, liver disorders skin diseases. The whole plan is used for various medical purposes.  Bhrigraj is a plant which often grows in moist places. Although it grows in almost the whole world, but it is found in abundance in India, China, Thailand and Brazil. In Ayurveda, its 237oil is considered very useful for hair. Bhrigraj is used for hair fall treatment, liver disorders skin diseases. The whole plan is used for various medical purposes.

Marigold  Scientific name : Tagetes  Marigold is a common name for several plants in the Asteraceae family cultivated as ornamentals for their large, generally orange blossoms. It is a species native to Europe, but cultivated worldwide. it has various medicinal uses-  Reduce rash and protect sensitive skin.  Decrease the appearance of discoloration due to scarring.  Treat burns and infected cuts.  Eases cramps and muscular pains.
