2. AEA data collection 2014 Reporting deadline 30/09/2014 30 datasets received, of which 27 from EU MSs National data and EU aggregates published on 19/12/2014 Better quality of initial datasets leads to shortened validation time by 71 days compared to 2013

AEA data collection 2014 – Quality reports 29 QR received (26 EU + 2 EFTA + 1CC) 27 countries publish or plan to publish AEA nationally; 2 countries do not publish AEA at national level Approach used: 20 countries (19 EU + 1 CC): inventory first approach 2 EU MSs: energy first approach 7 countries ( EU +2 EFTA): combined approach 7 EU MSs, 2 EFTA countries and 1 candidate country provided data in NACE Rev. 2 for years before 2008 Cca. 1/3 of the countries has gaps or is not able to provide any information on bridging items
