MISSION STATEMENT As a public service employee of Palm Beach County, it is our mission to continually improve, in the most cost effective manner, the services to our customers; protection of the overall public good, as guided by the policies of the Board of County Commissioners; and to achieve a recognized high level of public satisfaction for costs and quality of service.

PALM BEACH COUNTY GOVERNMENT BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS Palm Beach County Government consists of a seven (7) member board of county commissioners. The public service board members are elected to staggered four year terms by registered voters in the district in which the commissioners reside. The Board of County Commissioners serves as the legislative and policy-setting body for county government; enacts countywide laws and authorizes programs and all expenditures of county funds.

PUBLIC SERVICE EMPLOYEES Public service employees are our men and women who work in government each and every day. They find solutions to the Countys problems, assist constituents in need, keep us safe and advance the countys interests.
