SENIOR SYNTHESIS Period 6 Mr. Scott Drain

What would you like your family to know about what it’s like being you?

What would you like your family to know about what it’s like being you? It's difficult juggling sports, school, and my regular life. It's not always easy, and I need my space I'm really nervous about college and my future. Being me is pretty easy. My family makes it very easy for me to do what I want. I just don’t sweat the small stuff and I stay focused on what i need to do pretty much.

What would you like your family to know about what it’s like being you? Most things in my life work out and I don't have too much stress. Some of my friends are stupid though and that causes some stress. A lot of the time I'm not confident in myself. It is extremely difficult for me to get through my days sometimes. I have gone through a lot of depression, and I find it hard to tell people how I truly feel because I fear that they will not understand what I am going through.

What would you like your family to know about what it’s like being you? It's stressful beyond belief. I have too much homework and not enough time to hang out with my friends and do fun interactive activities. I want them to know that it's not easy doing everything I do on a daily basis so I would like not to get bothered as much I'm encouraged all the time about how well I'm doing, but I worry all the time that those comments are empty, that I'm not doing enough.

What would you like your family to know about what it’s like being you? I would like my parents to know that I am a bit stressed and I have a lot going on concerning college and school and social issues, and that if I make rude comments to them, it is not because of the things they do but just because I am stressed out. I am trying my best, it's just that there is a lot going on right now

What would you like your family to know about your relationship with them?

What would you like your family to know about your relationship with them? I may not always agree with you, but I will always care about you. Thank you for everything you do I have a very strong relationship with all my family members. The only thing I would suggest would be to give me a bit more room. I'm mature enough to make correct decisions.

What would you like your family to know about your relationship with them? That I would do any thing for them. And that I appreciate them so much and I love them. I love them very much. I'm scared of going to college away from them. I feel like I'll be judged based on the level of school I go to. I would like my family to know that I care a lot about them, but sometimes I feel like they are pushing me too hard and stressing me out too much about college life.

What would you like your family to know about your relationship with them? I live differently from my family in some ways, but sometimes worry that I'm too similar to them. I would like them to know that I feel bad whenever I don't treat them as well as I should. I don't show my guilt, but it is there and it bothers me.

What would you like your family to know about your faith life?

What would you like your family to know about your faith life? God has been there for me whenever I need him, including the times I think I don't. I believe in God and I'm catholic. Some things in the bible I am skeptical about, but I feel like most people are. I don't think Jesus walked on water. I'm struggling a little with what I truly believe.

What would you like your family to know about your faith life? I talk to God daily. And I love having him because he is always there for me during good times and bad. I am not sure if I believe in God. I would like them to know that it's greatly improving especially during this class because I get to ask questions that I wouldn't be able to ask in other religion classes and have discussions on those questions.

What would you like your family to know about your faith life? I am an atheist. I think it's important for me to connect with god, or at least be spiritual, but I don't want it to have a negative effect on other people. Just because I don't want to go to church does not mean that I am not spiritual and reflective. I believe in a higher connection between all life, however, I just don't get much out of a church setting.
