Google Docs Pie Charts From Roberta Tipton Rutgers-Newark 5-Point Plagiarism Quiz Based upon the Camden Plagiarism Tutorial 113 responses

Using Countblank From Roberta Tipton Rutgers-Newark =COUNTBLANK(First cell:Last cell)

Using an Array Formula to Self-Grade From Roberta Tipton Rutgers-Newark =SUM(IF((B2:B112=B2), 20%, 0))+ (IF((C2:C112=C2), 20%, 0))+ (IF((D2:D112=D2), 20%, 0))+ (IF((E2:E112=E2), 20%, 0))+ (IF((F2:F112=F2), 20%, 0))

Counting the Correct Answers with COUNTIF from Ma Lei Hsieh Rider University =COUNTIF(c2:c20, a*)

Column C has answers to question 1, Column D for question 2, etc. Each row contains the answers to all questions for each student. By Ma Lei Hsieh

How many students from row 2 to row 20 chose a or b or c or d for an answer? Excel function: AnswerFunctionNumber of students A=COUNTIF(c2:c20, a*)7 B=COUNTIF(c2:c20, b*)2 C=COUNTIF(c2:c20, c*)5 D=COUNTIF(c2:c20, d*)5 By Ma Lei Hsieh

Making an Absolute Formula From Ma Lei Hsieh Rider University =B887/$B$885

Whats the percentage of students from row 2 to row 20 choosing each answer for Question 1? Click Cell B887 divided by Cell B885 (total number of students) and press Function 4 (F4) on the keyboard. F4 will add $ at the right places in the function to make B885 an absolute number. When you scroll down to repeat the function for answer b, c, and d, the divisor remains the same. Format Cell C887 into percentage figure. By Ma Lei Hsieh

Thank you! Questions? Ma Lei Hsieh, Roberta L. Tipton,
