1. Pivot Tables= impromptu data reports for student grade data
Open up a data file
Highlight the data contents by clicking on the small box next to column A
Click on insert pivot table. Make sure you choose new worksheet!
Put students indicated by gender and test prep course in row
Put students indicated by race/ethnicity in a column
Put test score in value-Make an average!
Click format, format cells, chose number and choose 0 decimal places
Click on row and column labels. DESELECT blank for your graph.
Click on insert and choose a chart to display this data
