DeLegge Medical Tech Accelerator Dr Mark and Rebecca DeLegge

Technology Acceleration Technology acceleration is the sequential movement of a medical device or idea from the cocktail napkin to the patient. Medical device and technology ideas are abundant in number; however, the ideas that cross the finish line are limited

What do Tech Accelerators do with my IDEA? o Market analysis o Protect IP: Provisional patent full patent freedom to operate o Regulatory assessment: PMA, 510K, Class III, Class II, exempt? o Reimbursement analysis: pathway for the technology Large prototype development (10X to scale). Have I captured my idea? To size prototype - can it be reduced in size for animal or human application with the current commercial instrumentation or environments available. Working prototype – can you make it work?

Put the Pieces Together Who is my TARGET Partner How will they see my IDEA? What concerns will they have? IDEA Package

Further acceleration? Full Business Plan Development Funding Partners (Angels, Venture, FFF, Corporate) SBIR/STTR Funding/ SCLauch Further Animal Trials, IACUC Submission Human Trials & IRB Submissions FDA/CE Submission, Design Validation Manufacturing and Production
