Wildkat Student Council Meeting October 31, 2017

Food Drive The annual Food Drive will begin tomorrow and run through November 15th. Cans will be collected in most classrooms and we will be picking them up on the 15th. This year we will be renting a UHaul to transport all of the food to the Food Pantry. We are also working on getting a bus to transport us to the Food Pantry so that we may assist in the unloading process also. *EXTRA CREDITTT*

Class Meetings Each class will have individual meetings on their own which will be decided on by the class sponsor. These meetings will be held to discuss class specific topics as well as hold class elections. Positions to be filled in each class: President Vice President Secretary Treasurer Historian Please be paying close attention to your school email for information on those meetings.

Christmas Family Adoption This year each class is being assigned a family to adopt for Christmas that was affected by Hurricane Harvey. Each class will be in charge of buying the presents provided on their wish lists and also making cards for them to open on Christmas Day.

T-Shirts The Student Council T-Shirts have been designed and we will begin working on getting them printed soon. These shirts are paid with by your dues so there will be no additional charges. The shirt to the right will be worn to support our family adoption campaign for Christmas.

Winter Ball/Sock Hop (Winter Dance Party) We are beginning to work on plans to have a Winter Ball at the end of January. Currently we are looking at the dates of January 20th or January 27th. If those two dates are taken, we will plan on having a 50’s themed Sock Hop in the gym on February 3rd. More information, along with finalized plans will be announced at our next meeting.
