What’s Happening in kindergarten?
Thank you for being committed to helping your child with reading, homework, and sight words! 
This week, we will focus on the –ad and –ag word families. We will continue to work on retelling stories. Our themes this week will be “At the Zoo” and “Valentine’s Day.” We have will also review counting pennies and dimes, story problems, and using patterns. We will also learn about President’s Day. Thank you for your constant support of your child’s education. Your efforts make a world of difference. Have a great week! 
Classroom reminder
Please practice assigned sight words each night. Writing sentences, numbers, and letters are also great practice! 
Dates to remember
Sight words will be assessed on Thursday. (Set B, Week 5)
Our Valentine’s party will be on February 14 from 2:15-3:00. Thank you for all of your donations!
We will pass our out our Valentine’s at the party. You may leave the “to” section blank if you’d like.
