Presentation transcript:

If you didn’t get the grade you wanted, you have 1 week+ to fix it… Test Corrections Retake Get a lined piece of paper Put your heading on the paper and assignment title (Chapter ?? Test Corrections) For each question you got wrong: Write the question Show all work Write the CORRECT Answer – make sure it’s clearly identified (highlight, circle, draw rectangle around it) Staple to the back of the test Put in appropriate drawer (math/science) *You get ½ the points back for each question you get right (so could go from 40% to 65%) *highest grade you can receive using this method is 90% After class, come speak to me and set up a time You will have a different test on the same material You will take the test The higher of the 2 grades, go in the grade book. Before lunch on the day you will retake the exam, confirm with the teacher that you will be taking the exam that day. *You can go from a 0% to a 90%, but most students go up about 5 – 10% and some don’t go up at all *if retest is lower than original grade, original stays in the gradebook + 1 week from date the test is returned to students.
