Unit 7: Weather Patterns

3. Quiz Time
Quiz Retakes
Must have you and a parent sign a “contract” that:
You have completed all work for the unit
You spent at least one evening studying the material again
If the new score is higher, you keep it.
If the new score is lower, I will average all scores (which will lower your original score)
Retakes are during PM Advisory or after-school by appointment

4. Notebooks
You will keep all work added neatly to your class notebook (composition notebook)
Except for obvious exceptions like posters, models, etc
All work must have a clear title and date
Or it will not be graded
All work must be readable and neatly organized
You will receive a separate “Notebook Organization” grade for each unit, grading how neat and organized your work is (10 points)

5. Daily Work
Notes, worksheets, reading assignments, labs, and other class activities (not quizzes, exams, or projects)
Each assignment will have a separate grade (different from Q1), usually 10 points.
You are to use class time to complete all daily work
If you do not finish in class, it is homework!
You must turn in (or show) your work to Mr. Zuber the day it is due, which is usually the same day assigned for daily work.
One week to turn in late work without a penalty (one letter grade down)
