ACCELERATED READER PROGRAM Accelerated Reader is a program used in our school. Students can determine their reading level by looking at the colored dot on the spine label of the books.

WHY SHOULD YOUR STUDENT GO TO THE LIBRARY? A 2005 Illinois School Libraries shows that students who often visit the better-stocked and better-staffed libraries have higher ACT, reading, and writing scores versus those who don't. Further proof that libraries can help to make students smarter! (https://www.islma.org/pdf/ILStudy2.pdf)

CHECKING OUT BOOKS Students can check out books for three weeks and renew them if necessary. Two books can be checked out at a time. There is a replacement charge for lost books.

STUDENT LIBRARY ASSISTANCE I AM ALWAYS GLAD TO HELP STUDENTS WITH THEIR SCHOOLWORK IN THE LIBRARY.
