Question Strongly agree Agree Mostly agree Mostly disagree Disagree Strongly disagree I engage with others to learn from their success I am comfortable with my performance and do not need feedback from my coach I work hard at things I am not good at I am better at starting new projects than completing them I look for opportunities to be challenged My main aim is to impress other people when playing sport I like to play alongside those who have the same ability level (if not lower level) as me I like to ask for feedback and see this as an opportunity to improve There are some skills that no matter how hard I try, I will never improve I learn from challenging situations I like to be left to get on with learning without interference from my coach I like the opportunity to learn new skills

Those with a growth mindset appreciate the value of success when they’ve worked hard to achieve it.   Fixed mindset Those with a fixed mindset believe that people are born with natural ability, intelligence or talent. These talents or abilities then determine their level of success in the future.
