Lockeford Kindergarten Construction Background Current Lockeford Addition project designed to be completed in 3 phases – Modernization of existing facilities Development of 7 classrooms, multi-purpose and PE facilities required to house 7-8 grade expansion Construction of 2 classrooms and associated play areas to support kindergarten population First 2 phases under contract with construction on schedule for July 2011 completion With recent funding of the state’s share of project funding, opportunity exists to complete all three phases at this time January 11, 2011 Lockeford Kindergarten Construction

Lockeford Kindergarten Construction Recommendations Estimated total cost for the addition of the kindergarten classrooms to the current construction project is $810,000 Monies to cover this expense would come from sources available only for use on facility issues Project completion promotes dialogue regarding the continued use of Clements School Staff recommends that the existing Lockeford Addition construction contract be extended to include the construction of the 2 kindergarten classrooms and associated play yard areas January 11, 2011 Lockeford Kindergarten Construction
