Towards a Competence Frame ‘Public leaders operating at a national level and dealing with Brussels’ Main results of Survey conducted by ROI and Dutch Ministry of Interior Response to the survey: 88% Competence is ability to act successfully Competence subdivided in knowledge, skills and attitude

Common Exchange and Training Programme (blended ‘To increase the efficiency and synergies of training programmes offered by the national institutes and schools for public administration’ Conclusions Development of a blended study visit in a e-learning platform Introduction in new member states Implementation of a Task Force led by the UK

Conclusions ‘The directors have taken a significant step forward: To develop shared competencies To create a common website To develop a joint programme for public officials who operate at a national level and deal with Brussels To invest staff and means in realizing these objectives
