Anzac Day- 25th April

What is the date of Anzac day? On 25th of April in 1915 all soldiers of Australian and New Zealand fought at Gallipoli. This has become Anzac Day.

Why do we remember Anzac day? We celebrate this day because all soldiers of Australian and New Zealand fought for their country to honour own land.

What is the Dawn service? On this day all people and soldiers gather before dawn. They join together to remember all soldiers who died at Gallipoli in WWI. The soldier reads the letter, and all soldiers do march and they bring flowers to remember the soldiers who died. One of the soldiers plays the last post. Other people pay respects in this ceremony.

What is the Anzac Day March? After the performance of soldier who organised the ceremony like Dawn service. All soldiers join together and started the march in 9am.Many people sit and watched the soldiers. All streets will be clear for them and no car can drive.

The last post The last post is the soldiers who play with a bugle and it is represents stop fighting and get rest all soldiers. It is also is played for remembering all soldiers who died in Gallipoli. After this all people are silent for one minute to respect them.
