It was when Great Britain declared war on Germany to end all wars. Which side did Australia fight o an why? Australia fought on Great Britain side because they are part of the British Empire.

3 Where is Gallipoli? Gallipoli is one of the parts where the First World War was held. Why was Gallipoli important to the allies during the War? That was where the War was happening when they were trying to get to Russia. Why is this place important in Australia history? It was the first time that Australian men had fought as Australians.

4 What does ANZC mean? It means Australia New Zealand Army Corps. Where did the name ANZAC originate? New Zealand came up with the name ANZAC. WHY DO WE COMMEMORATE ANZAC DAY When do we commemorate ANZAC Day? 25 of April Why is it commemorate on this day? This was when the war had started.
