Koalas diet Koalas eat tallow wood and eucalyptus leaves. They also eat gum trees like river red gum, grey gum, and terpene. Terpene is poison to other animals but koalas eat it.

Koalas babies Koalas are born with good sense of smell, strong front legs, and good strong claws. Koalas are called joeys when they are born. They are blind when born. They are as small as a jelly bean.

Interesting Facts/Special Features Their finger prints look like human finger prints. They are smart with small brains.

Koala I chose the koala because they have a lot in common with people. I was surprised to find out that they are blind when born. People can learn a lot about koalas.
