The koala is endangered because people are hunting them and killing them or taking them somewhere they don’t want to be because they want to be free like other wild animals.

The habitat for koalas are leafy trees to eat some of the leaves.some koalas live in the San Diego Zoo.

Koalas are being protected by zoo keepers taking koalas to zoos. You can also protect them by giving them special care and help them survive and give them the food and water they need.

10. Fun facts for koalas!!!!
2 facts I want to give are, As marsupials female koalas have pouches where their babies stay until fully developed. Koalas also have special adaptations that enable them to feast on eucalyptus leaves. Very fussy eaters, they use their excellent sense of smell to select the best tasting leaves.
