Slide title 40 pt Slide subtitle 24 pt Text 24 pt Bullets level pt Ericsson Confidential Post-Launch Tuning Cluster Scope Purpose: Perform Post launch Cluster tuning after 14 th December 2005 Launch Pre-Requisites: Cluster needs to be at 90% level plus 60% surrounding sites Duration: Post-Launch Complete Cluster Activities 30 days/cluster (medium cluster market) or 34 days/cluster (large cluster market) Post-launched activity for selected tuned clusters 26 days/cluster (medium cluster market) or 31 days/cluster (large cluster market) 5 days for the IRAT UMTS EDGE border clusters drive 4 Drives per Cluster for tuning. 7 Extra drives for 3 selected clusters and One UMTS EDGE border cluster drive Cingular must arrange for Remote Electrical Tilt (RET) teams to be provided to complete changes to sites in a cluster that require downtilt changes within 3 days of drive analysis being completed Estimate 70% of a clusters sectors will need RET adjustments after the first tuning drive Average 42 sectors (14/day) in a 60 sector/20 site cluster Estimate may be revised based on IT feedback OCNS Calibration for selected tuned clusters: 1.For OCNS Calibration clusters will be divided into two different morphologies, Site density and Site configuration 2.Based on step 1 results, OCNS calibration will be performed. This will help in reducing the OCNS drives in Selected clusters

Slide title 40 pt Slide subtitle 24 pt Text 24 pt Bullets level pt Ericsson Confidential Explanation: Un-tuned Clusters: –All clusters for Post launch tuning activities will be considered as un-tuned Selected Tuned Clusters: –3 + 1 Clusters from each market will be selected after the tuning activities. Selection will be based upon the following Speech Dropped Call Rate performance criteria 1.Best Performer 2.Medium performer 3.Low performer 4.IRAT dirve at the edges of the UMTS coverage area (see the picture below) HSDPA loaded Drive: –CS OCNS calibration values will be used

Some clusters in Houston and San Diego are large and 3 days would be needed for driving. *25 days/cluster (medium cluster market) or 28 days/cluster (large cluster market) not including the optional drive **No OCNS Calibrated load. Load for each cluster per market will be provided by Performance Team. 30 days/cluster (medium cluster market) or 34 days/cluster (large cluster market) AMR 12.2k and PS R99 unloaded Drive #2 AMR 12.2k and PS R99 loaded** AMR 12.2k and PS R99 unloaded Drive #3 (Optional)*
