Partnership Resource Teams Expertise is matched to institution’s Areas of Focus Not just a single visit: Each team commits to 3 visits or more as needed The visits are designed to: Understand issues and identify scope of support Develop ideas for institution’s Innovation and Effectiveness Plan to address Areas of Focus Provide follow up support as needed

Partnership Resource Teams Institutional CEO completes a short Letter of Interest to identify Areas of Focus for technical assistance. That initiates the process. Well before the initial PRT visit, the CEO, with the participation of the Academic Senate president and others as appropriate, develops a somewhat more detailed (but still concise) description of each Area of Focus. Seed grants of up to $150,000 are available after the second visit to expedite implementation of institution’s Innovation and Effectiveness Plan (available until funds run out).

Partnership Resource Teams 35 institutions so far have been selected to receive technical assistance by PRTs. Spring 2015 cohort: 8 institutions Fall 2015 cohort: 15 colleges, 1 center, and 1 district Spring 2016 cohort: 10 institutions PRTs are drawn from a pool of more than 230 subject matter experts from within CCC system. PRT Training occurs twice each year, through a webinar and two face-to-face workshops. Volunteer to join the pool from which PRTs are drawn! The Panel Diana Bennett serves on the Hartnell PRT. Santanu Bandyopadhyay serves on the Yuba PRT, whose follow-up visit will be in Summer or early Fall. May Chen also serves on the Hartnell PRT, and is receiving PRT support at Berkeley, whose third visit will be in early April. Bill McGinnis serves on the Berkeley PRT. Kindred Murillo serves as Lead on the Barstow PRT, and is receiving PRT support at Lake Tahoe, whose first visit will be on Feb. 29. [ASCCC Facilitator Randy Beach serves on the CCSF PRT, whose second visit will be on Jan. 27, and will be receiving PRT support at Southwestern starting this Spring.] [Facilitator Jeff Spano serves on the Merritt PRT, whose first visit was on Oct. 28, and will be receiving PRT support at the Chancellor’s Office starting this Spring.]
