Troubleshooting Steps Identify the problem (What’s the problem?) Check Basic Solutions Cables plugged in, just restart it, out of ink Research for help & support Internet, boards, tech support site Talk to a technician & follow their instructions Confirm it’s fixed Document problem/solution

Troubleshooting Connection Issues No Internet? Is your IP address 169.254.x.x? Check Ethernet cable (unplug & replug) Reboot router & then restart PC IP is ok, still no connection Turn modem & router off for min. & back on; restart PC Still nothing? Call ISP No Wi-Fi? Is wireless on device turned on? Did the Wi-Fi password change? Are you too far from the wireless router?
