Arkansas Christadelphian Bible School 2012 Eyes that see not… Ears that hear not

Eyes that see not, Ears that hear not… What, then, is required to both see and hear? Eyes that see not… Ears that hear not

Seeing, we would define as: A correct perception of the Word, illuminating the way of life in this present Gentile darkness, personifying Truth in its purity from the source of light unapproachable – Yahweh. Hearing, we would define as: Discerning a certain recognizable sound as representing correct doctrine, and responding accordingly. Eyes that see not… Ears that hear not

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ (2 Cor. 4:6). Total of 9 flower parts per branch Eyes that see not… Ears that hear not Exodus 25 and 37

Eyes that see not… Ears that hear not = 54 flower parts + 12 flower parts of the central stem, = 66 Total flower parts 66 Books of the Bible, the light of the revealed Word (upheld on 7 golden branches of spiritual perfection) 7.

Eyes that see not… Ears that hear not I am the Light of the World (John 8:12-20; John 9:1-7; John 11:7-10)

Men love human philosophies which they regard as light. Doctrines are proclaimed and approved by men which are but fables of human devising. To such fire-raisers God says: Behold, all ye that kindle a fire, that compass yourselves about with sparks: walk in the light of your fire, and in the sparks that ye have kindled. This shall ye have of mine hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow (Isa. 50:11). The sparks quickly die out, and men sink into darkness, lying down at last in sorrow for an eternal sleep. Both these followers and rejecters of the Divine light have a similar place in the teaching of Jesus: I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness; and if any man hear my words and believe not, I judge him not...the word that I have spoken shall judge him in the last day (John 12:46-48). Eyes that see not… Ears that hear not

Conclusion: For those who will See and Hear… Eyes that see not… Ears that hear not Ye are the Light of the World (Matt. 5:14-15; Phil. 2:15; I Thes. 5:1-6; I Peter 2:5-9)
