The Capacity Building Assistance (CBA) Provider Network (CPN) This is a very brief introduction to the Capacity Building Assistance Provider Network (CPN); who we are, what we do, and how to find more information.

Learn more @ CBAproviders.org CDC Capacity Building Branch (CBB) Health Departments (HDs) CBA Providers Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) Health-Care Organizations (HCOs) CBOs HCOs HDs The Capacity Building Assistance (CBA) Provider Network, or CPN, receives funding from the Capacity Building Branch (CBB) within CDC's Division of HIV/AIDS Prevention. CBB provides national capacity building assistance and related resources for High-Impact HIV Prevention. The CPN is comprised of 20 distinct CBA providers and a national resource center. CBA providers disseminate information and provide training and technical assistance to community-based organizations, healthcare organizations, and health departments. The purpose of the CPN is to strengthen the capacity of the HIV prevention workforce to optimally plan, implement, and sustain high-impact HIV prevention interventions and strategies in order to reduce HIV infections and HIV-related morbidity, mortality, and health disparities across the United States and its territories. To learn more about all of the CBA providers in the network and the CPN Resource Center, please visit cbaproviders.org. National CPN Resource Center (CRC) Learn more @ CBAproviders.org

Submit a request for CBA @ GetCBAnow.org CBA Components Each CBA provider is funded to provide services under three of the following six components: HIV testing, prevention with HIV-positive persons (PWP), prevention with HIV-negative persons at highest risk of acquiring HIV (PWN), condom distribution (CD), organizational development and management (ODM), and policy. Health departments, community-based organizations, and healthcare organizations that wish to get free training, technical assistance, or consultation in any of these component areas will need to submit a request through CDC’s CBA Request Information System (CRIS). Go to GetCBAnow.org to submit a request. If you are unsure if you are eligible to submit a request, please review the “About CBA” section of the CRIS website or write to us at info@cpnresourcecenter.org.
