Classwork Monday, November 7, 2016: Read Handout to prepare for speech analysis. Define Parallelism, Repetition, Rhetorical Questions, and Allusion. Identify examples. Listen to the speech in its entirety for overall gist. Model analysis of first paragraph of the speech along with the audio/text.

Partner work Monday, November 7, 2016: Choose a partner and begin to work on the remainder of the speech. You should complete the entire analysis because it will assure comprehension of the author’s message and his use of rhetorical devices.
