We have had a great time getting to know each other, learning our way around our new school and making new friends! The children are doing a great job learning the classroom routines: how to pack and unpack their belongings, how to take care of their supplies, how to be good listeners, how to show classroom citizenship, etc. You can help us keep organized by looking through your child’s blue folder each night and removing the papers inside. Also, please make sure to return the blue folder every day! Next week we will begin a study of the alphabet learning letter recognition, letter sounds, and correct formation of the letters. We will also begin to review our shapes and numbers to 10. Thanks for helping us get off to such a great start. What a wonderful group of students, I am so excited for our year together! Monday No School Tuesday (DAY 4) Art Wednesday (DAY 5) Gym – Wear Sneakers Thursday (DAY 6) Music Friday (DAY 1) Library Sept/Oct – Mini Me Presentations Check the directions sheet on the mini me poster for your child’s day!
