Conclusions 1. EMARs. Need to promote approach. Also to address any sovereignty concerns. 3rd Parties including Industry. Need to decide when to consult/engage. 3a. What level of trust for mutual recognition. i.e. formal recognition traded with audit. 3b. Use EDA to assist mutual recognition. © British Crown Copyright 2009

Recommendations 1a. MAWA Forum & EDA to determine how best to promote EMAR concept. (e.g. Eurocontrol/ASD/EASA) 1b. MAWA Forum to share Basic Framework with ASD. 1c. pMS to seek quick wins based on lessons learned for promotion & collaboration. 2. Task Forces to determine when and how to engage with industry & other 3rd parties. © British Crown Copyright 2009

Recommendations 3a. Task Force to determine what level of trust for mutual recognition. i.e. formal recognition traded with audit. 3b. MAWA Forum to consider task force for mutual recognition. (later) 3c. Industry organisational approvals to account for civil organisational approvals where appropriate. Note: Trust not possible without common approach to safety. 4.
