Subterranean Data Bank (Sutra DBank) is a complete asset register or inventory of all underground utility data including the points of reference which will immensely benefit all interested parties. DEFINITION

HISTORY Sutra D Bank in Malaysia, has its beginning in March 1996 when the Penang State Government received a proposal from Equarater Sdn. Bhd. (ESB) to establish an Integrated Underground Utility Information Bank (IUUIB) for the Penang State Government. In August 1997, after several meetings, the proposal was approved with a condition that ESB enters into a joint-venture with Penang Development Corporation, a state agency, to undertake the proposed project.
