Learning objectives: to understand the importance of activity to keep the heart healthy to investigate the effect of different activities on heart rates to collect, analyse and present data

Why is activity important for a healthy heart? increases the heart rate exercises the heart muscle helps keeps the heart fit helps the heart pump blood efficiently around the body can help reduce coronary heart disease by 35% also helps: lower your cholesterol level keeps blood pressure at healthy level can help to manage weight (another risk factor for heart disease)
