Sharing Stories

What is a Story? A story is something that is told to us either by word of mouth or in print. (written down) You can find stories in books, magazines, newspapers and just from people telling you one.

Different types of Stories There are stories that are sad, funny, scary or happy. Some stories teach a lesson.

Who tells stories? Anyone can tell a story. We can hear stories from teachers, friends or parents.

What is your favorite story to read? Have you ever written or told a story to someone?
