2013/2014 TASK Applied Science performs clinical trials in tuberculosis
2013/2014 TASK has completed several important projects in the last 7 years including trials with Bedaquiline and Delamanid. TASK mainly collaborates with international NGOs, government funded consortia, academic centers and pharmaceutical companies on various drug development projects. Task Applied Science (TASK) was founded in 2005 with the aim to accelerate the development and evaluation of novel anti tuberculosis drugs.
TASK operates at the new Task Research Centre in Bellville, Cape Town, which is a central facility that provides adequate space for patients, protection of staff from infection with tuberculosis and a hub from which we coordinate quality assurance, training and long-term follow–up of all our trials participants. 2013/2014
