SCENARIO 1.2 Mary has been researching a chimpanzee named Fuzzy for 14 days, and she records the following data in her lab notebook. “Fuzzy is a small chimpanzee with a black body and a pink face. She has 30 teeth, and her smile is very wide. She is 36 inches long from head to tail. She weighs 20 pounds. She interacts with other chimpanzees an average of 6 hours per day and her best friend is a chimpanzee named Giggles. Fuzzy eats an average of 10 pounds of food per day. Her favorite food is strawberries.”

SCENARIO 2.1 A student wanted to test how the mass of a paper airplane affected the distance it would fly. Paper clips were added before each test flight. As each paper clip was added, the plane was tested to determine how far it would fly.

EXPERIMENT 3.1 Sponge Bob notices that his friend Gary is suffering from slimotosis, which occurs when the shell develops a nasty slime and gives off a horrible odor. His friend Patrick tells him that rubbing seaweed on the shell is the perfect cure, while Sandy says that drinking Dr. Kelp will be a better cure. Sponge Bob decides to test this cure by rubbing Gary with seaweed and drink Dr. Kelp for a week. After the week of treatment, the slime is gone and Gary’s shell smells better.
