Aims: 1. To introduce pupils the new words, to get information about traditional food in Kazakhstan and the names of national dishes, to teach pupils how to prepare it. 2. To develop pupils interests in studying English 3. To teach pupils to be attentive to each other

II. Warm-up: What month is it now? What season is it now? What weather is it like today? What weather was like yesterday? What season was before winter? What was weather like in autumn? Why?

Kazakh cuisine. In Kazakhstan people eat a lot of meat. The main dishes of Kazakh cuisine are cooked of mutton and horse-beef. They like also horse-beef delicatessen such as chuzhuk, kazy,zhal,zhaya. Their traditional dish is beshbarmak.

They have some traditional milk products They have some traditional milk products. They are kurt, irimshik, katyk. Their traditional drinks are kymyz (mare’s milk), shubat. These drinks are very useful for health.

Kazakh people are very hospitable Kazakh people are very hospitable. When they invite guests they also cook pilaf, kuyrdak and bauyrsak. And, of course, no feast goes without strong and tasty creamed tea.
