Continuing My Education I decided to continue my education, because I like to help my kids with their homework, because school is totally different from when I was in school. I need to know more in order for me to push my kids to succeed. I need to show them by being an example. I also decided to come back to school, because I want to get my GED. Family Literacy is giving me the opportunity to reach my goal. I’m very happy and thankful to be here. It is like a dream come true. This program has helped me a lot. I’m learning how to write properly. I am practicing math using MySkillsTutor. I feel proud of myself when I get home and my kids ask me how was my day at school, and I see that they’re proud of their mom. Besides of all the above reasons, every single job is requesting to have a high school diploma or a GED. So if without an education there are not opportunities. Rosalinda Angel
