SAKAI 1.5 – January 05 Pilot - Assessment (Samigo) and Gradebook Better organization, searching, sorting of sites by term, site type (course vs project) Public setting on a site – non-authenticated users can browse site public content Improved reporting on users, server/usage/site statistics for admins and support Improved ability to assume role of particular user and/or admin levels for support Hierarchical organization of sites – URL is more friendly, indicates the context of the site (year, term, subject) Groups – ability to specify groups of users in a site Help available on every tool Enforced copyright control when reading/downloading Resources Enhanced My Profile – added information about the user, editable by the user Ability to rename a user account and maintain ownership of content Syllabus construction tool Whisper function in Chat
