What We Heard at the November 2011 Community Workshops

Community Meeting Locations

Community Workshops Purpose: Share information from the SOW report to increase understanding and awareness of the current conditions and issues that exist in our watersheds Encourage dialogue on the issues and opportunities facing our watersheds Provide an overview of the watershed management planning process and allow opportunity for feedback

Purpose of a comprehensive watershed management plan for the Battle River and Sounding Creek watersheds : to develop recommendations for policy directions and management practices that lead to the protection, improvement and long-term sustainability of our watersheds environmental, social and economic values.
