APR Agricultural Property Protection from development MUST stay in active agriculture making an income of a minimum $1000 Only 20% of the land can be forested, the rest needing to be pasture or cropland

Forest Legacy Program U.S. Forest Service program conserves environmentally important forests Working forests Forest products Water Fish Wildlife habitat Recreational opportunities Minimum of 80% of property must be forested Selective Process MUST have Forest Stewardship Plan

Community Conservation Town Land Grants After an Open Space Plan is completed grant money can be applied for to help put it into action Town owned properties, NOT privately owned properties MUST have a basic sustainable management plan
