COMPREHENSIVE AUDIENCE Mission of the QAF JWTC QATAR Armed Forces Joint Warfare Training Center at DOHA To support the entire defense process To support the integration of new capabilities (gap analysis and capability package developent) To support the individual and collective training for the Command Structure at all levels (i.e., tactical, operational, strategic) To provide wargaming and exercise capability OPERATIONAL STRATEGIC TACTICAL COMPREHENSIVE AUDIENCE

JWTC At a Glance SITCEN: Situation Center JOC: Joint Operations Center

JTLS-GO in JWTC State of the Art JWTC Data Center JTLS-GO will be deployed to a Virtual Server Environment Total Number of Physical Machines in each networks: 4 Total Number of Cores ~= 192 (4*2*24, or more) Intel Xeon (8168), 2.7GHz (3.7 GHz Turbo), 24 Core, Dual CPU – No CPU having more Cores and Higher CPU Speeds in Intel Xeon Playground. Total Memory: 4 * 384 GB SAN Disk System for Secenario and AAR Data Shared Use of Resources for JTLS-GO, ETE3 and other JWTC Services JTLS-GO Configuration (Concurrent Run) Run Ahead Game, Main Game, Shadow Game,…etc.

HAVELSAN ETE-3 Software HAVELSAN Education, Training, Exercises, Experimentation and Evaluation Management Software

Management Services JWTC CAX / CAW / CMX / CAE Collaboration, Plan and Management Software HEART OF THE JOINT WARFARE CENTER OPERATIONS Promote and support the collaboration of remotely located entities to: Determine the objectives for JWTC events (CBW, CAX, CMX, Experiments,…etc.). Assign and manage the resources required for each event. Develop and manage the settings, baseline scenarios and scenarios, the flow of the events in the form of main incident lists. Plan, prepare, manage and support the physical environments and configurations, the modelling and simulation tools, the analysis, assessment, evaluation, after action review, lessons identified/learned and online feedback processes.

Training Objective Report Evaluate whether the training objectives are met.

ETE-3 and JTLS-GO Integration Equipment definition in ETE3 Dictionary / Onthology for Common Use in ETE3 Operations Define a equipment in one place Use it in all ETE3 forms Experimental Work in Progress Gather equipment information from JTLS- GO to ETE-3 Transfer equipment information from ETE-3 to JTLS-GO ETE3 needs to have a standart data interface for other simulations. No common equipment definition across simulations.

Summary JTLS-GO is one of the key components of the Qatar Armed Forces Joint Warfare Training Center. JWTC is in IOC stage (including ETE-3 capabilities) First exercise is being performed during the JTLS-GO User Conference December, 10th – 3 weeks exercise
