Knowing how states are doing financially helps you know what state to encourage your difficult clients to consider moving to. It should not. Financial trends, policies and resources are not part of vocational rehabilitation. We are about employment. Thus a vocational counselor needs to understand the financial trends of the state and resources that could assist a client in achieving economic self-sufficiency.
