Planets in order from smallest to biggest 1. Pluto – (Not technically a planet) .18 Earths – You could fit five Mercury’s in Earth 2. Mercury – .38 Earths – You could fit about 2.25 in Earth 3. Mars – .53 Earths – You could fit about 2 Mars in Earth 4. Venus – .95 Earths – Venus is about the same size as Earth 5. Earth – 6. Neptune – 3.8 Earths – You could fit about 4 Earths into Neptune 7. Comets Comets – Object made of ice, gas, and dust that travels through space

Asteroid Asteroid – A piece of rock that is in space and has not entered into the Earth’s atmosphere.

Meteors - Meteors – A piece of rock that has entered into the Earth’s Atmosphere but it burns up before it hits the Earth. (shooting star)

Meteorite Meteorite – meteor that strikes the Earth’s Surface
