Our Sun is one star in our solar system .
Five dwarf planets are Pluto, Ceres, Haumea, Makemake, and Eris.
All of the 8 planets after the Sun are Mercury ,Venus, Earth, Mars, The Asteroid- belt ,Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune.

2. The Sun The sun is one star in the solar system.
The surface temperature is 5,000 cooler.
The sun has a diameter of 1,390,000km.

3. Mercury The smallest planet in the solar system is Mercury.
Mercury has a core in the middle.
Mercury is the second hottest planet.

4. Venus Venus’s year is longer than our year .
Venus is called Earth’s sister planet.
Venus is referred to as the morning star.

5. Earth Earth is the only planet in the solar system that has life.
Earth is the only planet that has an atmosphere.
Earth has an inner core.

6. Mars The fourth planet from the sun is Mars. Only 16 of the 39 Mars.
Roman is named after Mars.

7. The Asteroid Belt Mars scattered in orbits around a sun.
Most of these objects are called planet planetoids.
Meaning star like orbit between Mars and Jupiter.

8. Jupiter Jupiter is a gas giant.
Jupiter is the fifth planet from the Sun.

9. Saturn Saturn is the 6th planet from the sun.
Saturn is the second biggest planet.

10. Uranus Uranus’s axis rotates once every 17 hours.
Uranus takes one trip around the Sun every 84 earth years.
Uranus is an ice giant.

11. Neptune Neptune takes 164.8 years to orbit the Sun.
Neptune is in our solar system.
Neptune was discovered by a girl.

12. Dwarf Plant Pluto
The planet Pluto is named after a Greek god. Pluto has 5 unknown moons. Pluto is the largest dwarf planet.
