Objective and Prompt Test score is the most important Review objectives and competencies Target different team members Cover basic answer outline within 3 minutes Judges will start to score you at this point Cover in detail immediately following Nod in agreement with statements made by fellow teammates Make eye contact with judges the entire time It is okay to direct contact to engaged judges at certain times

Prompt Only Practice with sample prompts Time management is key Create a basic structure and stick to it This will keep students from panicking in the prep room Remember, if applicable, to engage the judges If they are having fun, you can to!

Presentation Only PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE Engage the judges Include humor (when appropriate) Make effective use of visual aids

Presentation and Prejudged Prejudged is the most important Score will determine if you advance to performance at SLC Name and upload files appropriately This is the “handshake” from performance events Sets the tone for judging Actually show the work Don’t do screenshots for everything You did the work so showcase it!
